Are the gilmores back?
Are they worth discussing again?
Emily's meltdown was certainly worthy of mentioning, as well as understandable. Lorelei had a great line about having to take care of her mom and Rory mentioning that she felt the same way...but I've forgotten it.
So what do we think? Now that they are slowly, ever so slowly, moving back toward Luke and Lorelei, is all forgiven?

Parts of the episode I liked (the records, grandpa in general, Logan is totally growing on me) and parts that I found annoying and predictable and questionable(that Chris would show up at the exact moment Luke was talking to Lorelai, etc). Would Chris really have ignored her calls all day? He does still love her. Hmm.
Ooh! And I had an epiphany last night. Any chance their marriage isn't valid because it was abroad? I seem to remember when Katie and Tom got married in Italy that had to do it in the US too. An easy way out for the writers maybe?

Interesting...I hadn't thought about the whole validity of the union thing.
I loved the episode because it was an Emily-Lorelei episode and those are so great.
I've never liked Christopher...
I did love the look Luke shot Chris when Chris had the nerve to tell Luke to leave after Luke had been all over Connecticut for that family and Chris couldn't even bother to call Lorelei and say he was on his way or dare to ask how Richard was doing.

Emily made me cry....I could understand her so well. Given that a friend of mine is going through some stuff with her husband after 47 years of being together, the idea of making things right so nothing bad can happen resonates deeply with me.
I have never liked Christopher either. And of course, I love Luke. And the idea of an invalid marriage isn't all that far fetched!

OK...it is nearly a month later! After last night, I would say they are DEFINITELY back.
